I was wondering if anyone out there is planning to go to THE WHO November 3 Concert at the Verizon Center. I grew up listening to their music and I still own their Albums on LP, Cassette Tapes and CD's. I would love to go see them in Person since I have never gone to one of their Concerts before. I was wondering if they allow you to bring a Camera in to the Verizon Center to take pictures. The Concert starts at 7PM. I'm not sure how long it would last. Probably about 2 hours or so, right? Anyway it would certainly be a huge thrill for me to be able to go see the Rock Gods, THE WHO in Person.

My experience with aging rock stars doing "reunion" tours, etc. hasn't made me eager to see any more. The Beach Boys were truly horrible; sounded like they hadn't even bothered to rehearse. Paul Simon did a nice show (as well he should for that money) but the audience was dead! All those gray heads nodding off. Nobody would get on their feet. Nobody acted like they were into the music. The people around us on two sides mostly talked. Seemed like most of the rest mistook it for the opera; listened in respectful silence (and I like opera). It was hard to have a good time. Personally, I like smaller venues and less well known acts where they're still trying. I hope you find The Who all you are wishing for and that the audience remembers it's a ROCK concert. Have fun.

WildMaggie one of my friends told me the exact same thing you just said that it's not the same now as when they were a lot younger. But I feel like it's THE WHO we are talking about. One of THE All-Time Greatest Bands in Rock 'n Roll History. How can people not get excited about THE WHO Concert. I grew up listening to their music in the 60s and 70s as well as all the other Artists from The British Invasion Era. Sure you only have Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend of the original members around today but it's still THE WHO!!! We're not talking about a bunch of guys in a Tribute Band to THE WHO like you have with THE BEATLES or Elvis Impersonators.

THE WHO were known for antics up on the Stage with smashing their guitars and exploding Amps.THE WHO is still THE WHO nonetheless. THE WHO are Rock Icons and Rock 'n Roll Gods!!!!
