So here is something fun to give a try.

I am going to list a ultb book and you try to find it and who owns it.

The book is "Concern Ursidae Embraces and Light Contacts"

But, wait if I just gave you the title you could look that up instantly. So I have used www.dictionary.com to find synonyms for the actual words in the title. (There is not a one to one word relationship.) The book has been tag ultb and is owned by a member of the group. The person who figures it out, posts the next book in the game thread.

I'll give you one more hint. (Not because you'll need it but because I want to encourage you to look at each other profiles.) The book owner's favorite Library is in the city of Lowell.

Oh an if your the books owner...well maybe wait a while and let someone guess it first...

and the book is

Out 10, 2008, 7:56pm

Out 13, 2008, 6:08pm

Juvenile Warriors of the Councils.

The owner describes (his?) library using the words 'aspirational' and 'eclectic'.

Out 15, 2008, 9:55am

hmmm I'm thinking something about Child Soliders??? No luck yet.

Out 15, 2008, 10:14am

eromsted, and guessing the first word to be Young turns up Young fighters of the Soviets.

Out 15, 2008, 1:57pm

Got it, prosfilaes. Your turn!

Out 15, 2008, 3:16pm

Maggy's infelicitous behavior.

The owner says she(?) is happy that she can't remember her early childhood, and says she's, well, orderly about her physical books.

Out 15, 2008, 6:33pm

goldengrove and the book is Madge's Mistake

Out 16, 2008, 2:08am

11> Yep, that's correct. Your turn.

Out 16, 2008, 2:46pm

Spirit of moggy's nethermost

the owner of this book lives in a town that is also a state.

Out 17, 2008, 6:36pm

The 1:00 AM CresentBend

In the library of a user whose city and name match outside of Ahassee and Ydi.

Out 20, 2008, 11:06am

So like 1:00 AM would be _______time.

A bend is a kind of decorative knot.

A Crescent is a phase of the _______.

Out 22, 2008, 10:55am

1:00 AM is Night

Bow is a bend

Crescent is a phase of the Moon....

Out 22, 2008, 1:12pm

I found it, but I already did this. Anyone else?

Nov 15, 2008, 4:10pm

This thread's gone a bit quiet, but it looks as if misericordia was strongly hinting at "The Night of the Mooonbow" owned by andyray. But I'm confused because lots of other people own that title, it's just that andyray's hasn't been combined. So maybe I've got this wrong.

Editado: Nov 17, 2008, 12:32am

No you're not wrong and you found a uncombined book. Wow! Way to go. Post away!!!

Nov 17, 2008, 4:22pm

OK, I'll try a slightly different tack. Not so much synonyms as a loose rephrasing or cryptic clue.

"When are we again? Oh, _then_! And look - there's a list, in time order, just the way it should be."

The owner does seem to like his/her tea.

Nov 18, 2008, 12:05pm

"_then_!" hmmm that must mean something....

Nov 18, 2008, 4:28pm

The underlines were for emphasis - I forgot one can use HTML markup in these groups and fell back on usenet habits. So it should just read then

And the word itself doesn't have special significance.
I wouldn't want to mislead anyone...

Nov 19, 2008, 5:43pm

So, a day gone by and no takers. I'll try a gentle hint.

If the initial question was "Where are we" it would be about our location in space. But the question is "When are we". So it's about our location in....

Nov 19, 2008, 6:44pm

Oct 22 to Nov 15....patience patience

Dez 9, 2008, 6:05pm

Well, you've either lost interest or it's too difficult. I'll try some more hints. An adjective for a time-ordered list is ....

Also, this book has been reviewed by its one owner. From that, one can determine that the number 150 is significant in regards to the book (but you would not know that from the title or author.)

Dez 9, 2008, 6:28pm

#27 -- Well, you've either lost interest or it's too difficult.

We're deep thinkers who don't want to respond too quickly.

Dez 10, 2008, 4:23pm

Dez 10, 2008, 4:29pm

> 28

> 29

That's a useful word. How about the others?

Editado: Dez 10, 2008, 4:34pm

Chronic? :-

Editado: Dez 12, 2008, 6:31pm

Our place in time: A chronology Perhaps? Not a member of the Tea! group but looks close.

Dez 12, 2008, 7:30pm

> 32

Misericordia, you have it. I believe that, by your own rules, you should name the library but you clearly know who it is. My comment on tea wasn't based on groups (I didn't even know there was a tea group) but on the member's profile page.

Anyway, back to you for the next puzzle.

Dez 13, 2008, 12:15am

TallyDi's library...I got worried the book might not be ultb...

"The dogs of the wicker container sphere"

Fev 3, 2009, 11:46am

Dogs which use their nose to track down people rabbits etc.

Fev 5, 2009, 11:21am

Actual it's not wicker but most of these items are wicker. the one in question would be cotton or nylon.

Fev 14, 2009, 4:17pm

The Hound of the Basketballs in Reading_Fox's library

Fev 16, 2009, 11:10am

Fev 16, 2009, 7:37pm

OK, I need to go searching around the ultbs and find something for you!

Fev 18, 2009, 2:27pm

"The Crooning Grotto"

Fev 19, 2009, 1:39pm

Hmmm maybe some obscure reference to the owners profile page. Possible something about Singing Canyons...working on it.

Fev 19, 2009, 1:41pm

Hmmm just whom might be doing the singing... Gaints, Witches, Goblins Oh my!

Fev 19, 2009, 4:55pm

The book takes place out West, and the LT member lives 'out West.'
