Here is another game for our group. There is group dedicated to reviewing books. Basically when you join the group you are invited to review your books. For our group we would invite someone to review only one of their ultb tagged books. How our version of the game would work is first join the game thread by posting your intention to play and having tagged at least some of your books ultb. (The other group has people who only want to review TBR or READ tagged books. That would be fine here also, but minimal the book should be tagged ultb. Otherwise just go join the other group or don't play.) Next another player would look over the list and select a book for the previous player to review and post that request. They in turn would get request to review. Once a player completes the review they post the fact and become eligible for another request. If this isn't clear go check out the other group at "Go Review that Book" and remember we just add the ultb tag to the whole deal. I would say if four or five people join this thread with a "I'm ready to review" post we could get started.

If 100% of your ultb books are reviewed I'll put a "100% Review" notation on the Super Special ULTB member Recognition Awards Area of the group. Then you can mention that on your resume.

How about Joey Adams' Ethnic Humor I was really tempted to pick Guidelines for Hazard Evaluation Procedures, with Worked Examples but I mean how many Hazard Evaluation Procedure book reviews can one web site have? 0.01, 0.001?

LOL - it's actually a pretty good book! I've used it a lot over the years.....

But Joey Adam's Ethnic Humor will probably be much more fun, and a lot more politically incorrect.

Do we wait for any more to sign up - as suggested in your first post?

Should I also select something from your ultbs for you to review?

I think the best way to get people to join is to get on with it. Since the other option of waiting has done very little to date!

Good idea. Unfortunately I will not get on this as soon as I hoped - I'm out of town for 2 weeks, and forgot to bring it with me!!!! It looks like a quick read though, so can get on it quickly when I get back.

You could assign me an additional book that is ultb and not tbr, if you want; I could do the Guidelines book you were tempted by....

From your list, I would like to see a review of The Zebra Book of Castles - it looks neat!

Zebra Book of Castles it is!

Your out of town for 2 weeks and you didn't bring "Joey Adam's Ethnic Humor" but you do have Guidelines for Hazard Evaluation Procedures, with Worked Examples? Vacation or Work I don't want to know what your doing.

LOL AGAIN...
I actually don't have the Guidelines book with me, but I can access it through Knovel, an online technical library, and since I've read it and used it, I think it would be easy for me to do a review, with some access to the salient points online....

Maybe Business modeling with UML electronic resource : business patterns at work? No to dry...OOOOO Black & Decker Power Tool Carpentry well maybe a little to specific

You have some truly great books! For example Using Your Overhead Projector. Where on earth did you find that?

How about a review of Turner's wife Seems like a nice light mystery.

I am working of Zebra Book of Castles I noticed a tag on the back says 45p. I am assuming some bought this book on a trip to the UK and brought it back to the States. How much is 45p?

Oops - I forgot I had posted in here and didn't look.

Anyway, review to be added shortly (I am away from home until the weekend). I'm glad you chose that one - I like(d) it very much but haven't reread it for some years.

As for Using Your Overhead Projector - well, I bought it (new: expensive) back in the 80s when I was trying to be a manager and needed to give occasional talks. Actually, its quite good and even still relevant - replace OHP with PowerPoint.

45p = £0.45 = 50c approximately. That must have been many years ago!

I have reviewed Turner's Wife - not actually that easy because a) my mother has made off with my copy, b) its hard to say much without giving too much of the game away. But it is an excellent read and I commend to anyone who likes crime/suspense/spy novels.

I've reviewed quite a few of my ultb tagged books but by no means all... if you care to request a review.
