Hello everyone,

You may be hearing more and more of the buzz surrounding our book A Reliable Wife by Robert Goolrick(the buzz is darn near deafening with the booksellers!) The book's official pub date is April 7, but you'll probably be seeing it in stores shortly, if you haven't already. We ran out of galleys SO quickly, but I did sneak a few to post to the Early Reviewers program, if you're signed on for that.

Powell's Books in Portland is running a fantastic promotion for A Reliable Wife through their Indiespensible program (misspelling intentional). If you're not familiar with that, you should check it out--it's a great idea for the avid book lover: http://www.powells.com/indiespensable/.

They've interviewed Robert as part of the promotion and you can read it here: http://www.powells.com/authors/robertgoolrick.html.

I adored this book even though it isn't an easy read. The way compassion emerged from utter misery - wow!

One of my favorite novels -- breathlessly original, horrifying and compassionate at once. It's a book you can't take your eyes off.
