For insurance purposes, I'm trying to get a list of all of the books we own and the replacement cost of each. Our LibraryThing account has about 99% of all the books we own in it, so that seemed like a good place to start.
However, this seemed like the kind of information that would be useful to a lot of LT users, so I was interested in making it into an API. My initial thought was to pull a list of all of the ISBNs a particular collection (i.e. our "Library" collection rather than "wishlist" collections) and then use the Amazon API to get the price of each book. However, I'm unsure of how to pull the ISBNs of a particular user's collection. Any suggestions, aside from creating a custom view that shows those ISBNs and parsing the printable HTML?

Hold on for a short bit and we'll do all of this for you. ;)

Via API or export? Or can you say (yet)?

Can't quite say yet. Early stages of development.
