"Where the Wild Things Are"

Has anyone been to see the movie “Where the Wild Things Are”? I hope to see it this weekend. The book was one of my son’s favorites and at the age of 22 he still says it was his favorite. There is a great review of the movie by MSN film critic, James Rocchi at http://movies.msn.com/movies/movie-critic-reviews/where-the-wild-things-are.1/#R... . This review indicates the movie does not take away from the book when Rocchi states “…movie manages to build a slim, slight thing of grace into a feature-length film by burrowing into the book, not by blowing it up until it breaks.” See you at the movies.

I read the review in the cameron newspaper and it really raised my eyebrows. I think I will go see it without my kids in tow, just in case.
