We had a huge bllizzard- and since this was Finn's first snow (besides the one when he was neutered, couldn't play in that snow) he was thrilled! Since he's so furry, the snow stuck to him like glue. Thankfully, I got a photobucket account and I can make the pictures smaller. ;) He reminded me of a turtle.
And you can't see in the pictures, but on his tummy fur there was these perfectly-shaped balls of ice...it was hilarious yet it looked painful!

They both are so adorable---Finn's a lucky boy that you'll let him play in it!! Painful? I understand what you meant...I think I got a headache similiar to a ice cream head rush just by looking at the first pic!!!

My aunt suggested getting a bowl of warm water ready before the dog comes in - she would dip her poodle-mix's paws in the water, and then towel them before letting her loose in the house. My dog, though, wouldn't have stood for that - he loved the snow but hated water - so I would brush out the ices balls from his coat and pick them out of his paws on my enclosed porch before letting him inside.

:) Actually, he was out twice that week (not including multiple times to pee.) And he WILL NEVER come back from our tiny backyard, he dodges me pretty quick. It can take 30-60 minutes to fish him back in.
