- Hastings isn't strictly a bookstore; it bills itself as "your entertainment superstore." It does have books, and a pretty good selection of them, both new and used, and some bargain books. It has a good amount of Christian books but is not a "Christian" or "religious" store. They also carry a variety of magazines.
Hastings also has a cafe, and about 19 of 20 cafe visits, I order a Heath Mocha Frost. :-) In addition to books, they sell DVDs, music, and video games - new and used of all three categories - and they have many movies available for rent (DVDs, and still some videos). They sell some audiobooks, and there's a small section of audiobooks for rent, which I confess I've not tried.

But, on the positive side, I got a pile of good books and DVDs during the going-out-of-business sale, at great prices. And, thanks to the visiting Shawn from Corporate, I got to bring home the two book-and-coffee themed posters that were hanging in the cafe! I felt very lucky that day.
