The second volume of Tarzans adventures take him all around the jungle through perilous situations as he contends with his humanity, his desire to be with his love, and his place among the jungle society."--"The third novel picks up a year after the end of The Return of Tarzan, and finds Tarzan and Jane together with a son, beginning to build a life together in Africa. But of course, Tarzan doesnt stay out of danger for long, and soon his previous enemies are back to haunt him and kidnap his son. Als jochie vond ik de boeken al veel beter dan de films. Met name juist de latere werken waar al ver voor Jurassic Park en Indiana Jones verloren werelden als die van Opar werden bezocht. Die mystiek gecombineerd met de natuurbeleving spreekt nog steeds aan. ( )
