realistic look at an abused wife who although she was no longer with the husband still was in denial that she had been abused even though she was herself involved in helping abused women. She gets pregnant by her best friend. They work things out while also being involved in her ex husband's murder trial. Strongest point is how the hero learned to deal realistically with being in a relationship with a formerly abused woman. Not real light reading. ( )
