This is one of my favorite books. I have loved it since I was a child.

Peter is unhappy at no longer being the baby of the family and leaves..but not too far.

After returning home he paints his outgrown chair so it can be used by his sister. ( )

A great story about Peter coming to accept all his stuff being painted pink for his new baby sister. ( )

Peter's family has a new baby sister and Peter's parents start painting his old furniture pink for the baby. Peter starts to get jealous of his old items going to the baby and doesn't want his chair to be painted and threatens to run away. A good read for families expecting babies and how to handle this with their siblings who may not be open to the idea.

The book tell the story of peter a young boy who was not happy with the arrival of a new baby in his householder. He reacted angrily because his parents change the color of his baby things so they can be used and given to his baby sister. Throughout the story peter learn to come to term with the arrival of his new sister and share his possession with her from this story children can learn about acceptance and learn to reflect.
