Strange story of a young woman who suddenly starts to hear her father calling her to come home. She never seemed to miss her father before and now she is driven to find him. She learns that she can create a storm, she turns away from her best friend and seduces his brother and then is drawn to the brother’s friend. Her life and emotions and skills are out of control. Intriguing story line. This was an okay book. It was fun too read, but it didn't really have enough substance to leave a lasting impression. The characters were a little flat, and the ending felt sudden and unfinished without enough plot for her to be able to adequately continue the story with a sequel. Still the plot was interesting, there were a few parts that got the reader thinking (briefly) about what is good and bad. Undine is a fairly normal teenage girl, but lately things have gotten a little strange for her. She's hearing voices, fighting more with her mother, she keeps dreaming of the ocean and wakes up with fish around her, and she seems to be developing certain powers. In order to find out what's going on with her, she discovers the father she thought was dead is alive and goes to visit him. Some romance, her best friend is in love with her, and tries to help and save her, but she's first intersted in his brother, and then there's a little bit of interest in the brothers' friend. Interesting read. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica

Pretty well written; some very decently realised characters, all of whom could have been better utilised; all in all, not bad.
