Very sweet, simple drawings in this 1970s Japanese book. Focuses more on the theory of using the potty than practice, so to speak.
I always thought I had read this one when I was a kid, but it didn't seem familiar so I think I actually read Once Upon a Potty. ( )

Everybody Poops. Thats it. We all do it and that is normal. There are many different way but in the end it all comes out of it the same way.

I think this story is very informative and would be great for a body talk in preschool. It discusses how some things we see as gross are actually extremely normal and I think it can help us connect with other species instead of separating ourselves onto this higher plane. We poop too!

I had not known that this book was originally from Japan, and it definitely opened my eyes to smaller differences in culture that we might not know. Of course this book must be placed wisely in the classroom. But this humorous, real take on pooping is important! ( )
