From a theological standpoint this is a great series. But from the manmade perspective it is easy to see and understand how man made religion truly is. They are all the same, they all seek the same end goal and they all promise dark and terrifying results. But for the historian this series stands out for it's approach if not for its dated appeal.

It did a good job of explaining the teachings of the Catholic church. ( )
