While I like that this story is about an older woman who's married and stays married I didn't like how her husband treats her... mostly by dismissing what she says and full on hating her gift. ( )

I thoroughly enjoyed this book based on the premise of the main character getting a mind reading ability and the trouble she gets into. Easy reading with exciting characters and a good pace. ( )

Trying something new.

Nice idea, very easy to read. Not fantastically well presented, and no great depth to the plot or characters. A simple, no brain required piece of chick lit. ( )

☆3 - This one was a solid three stars. It was entertaining but it had no real highlights, aside from maybe the pacing. The characters were a little bit see through, and the plot wasn't anything to write home about. However, the story was told in an interesting enough way so that it held my concentration from beginning to end. The narrator of the audiobook was also pretty good, so that alone might get me to pick up the next in the series somewhere along the line. ( )

I loved the concept, and enjoyed some of the characters. The mystery was interesting as well. But the book is poorly written and poorly edited, which made it difficult to truly enjoy. ( )
