This one was weaker than the first three I believe. The first half or so was fine, but then pretty late in the story, after they've already gotten back together, there's a long flashback of their entire courtship and breakup the first time. I think that would have been better coming out in pieces throughout their 2nd courtship instead. It took the story and their relationship backwards when it had finally gotten to a good place. Then the rest of the book sort of plodded along. Parts were good, but it was unnecessarily drawn out. And the hero does a pretty strong 180 at the end that didn't seem fully supported. (Also, small thing, a large part of the hero's history revolved around his sexual kinks, but then it was mostly just glossed over at the end of the book. It seems like that's done frequently, authors want to have it as a mysterious and dark plot point but aren't really comfortable with the topic or something. I just find it weird to build it into a big thing and then be like 'ooh, he wants to tie her up with a scarf maybe! That's really deviant, right? Also they'll perhaps do some sort of "other things" off page even!' ... You've scandalized me...). sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
