I know on every page there is something new to discover and you are not required to read in page order. As a matter of fact, we rarely do. PIck a number- turn to the corresponding page- and a gem awaits. The drawings are sincere and the poems make you think, sometimes in a funny, but think nonetheless. Sometimes. I would hear my child ask a question about the poem a day or two after we had read it. This is the best compliment I can give to anything. In my opinion this is a great book. I really enjoyed how the book was organized. The book if full of short, humorous poems. With each poem contains a funny illustration to go along with it. For example, one poem is called "The Juggler" it's about a person who is juggling and keeps adding more and more items. At the end, it says it goes bad and things go bad. The illustration adds humor because from the picture you realize the juggler was actually juggling eggs. There is no specific "big picture" for the overall book because the book contains many short poems. However, my favorite poem is "Slam Dunker" which is a funny poem about a short guy playing basketball and jokingly saying to get a short hoop. The "big picture" of this poem is as long as you try, you can achieve almost anything. This book has many poems that are fun to read. Some of the examples in this book are every thing on it, car with legs, the clock man and many others. I like this book because the poems in this book are great to read. I would use this book in my classroom because it would be great intro into poems. This book would be great for third to fifth grade. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
