The Mad Mask is the sequel to archvillain.It also features kyle as the main character. In the book Kyle has been found out to be the town supervillain, but only by the mad mask, and he isnt telling anyone. He aproaches Kyle and asks him to aid him building a robot he calls ultron. The purpose of the robot would be to defeat mighty mike, Kyle's nemesis. To do such a thing Kyle must fork over most of his lab equipment and then steal some from the local science lab. When ultron is complete the mad mask betrays Kyle, and takes his best friend prisoner in the town sewers. Kyle comes to the rescue and figures out that the mad mask is actually dumb, but his superpower is that he can controll electronics. Kyle scares him off but his friend realizes that he is a bad guy. Kyle uses his memory changer and makes it so that she cannot remember him bieng the archvillain.

This book had a few more plot twists than the last but it scores a bit higher. This is because a new enemy was introduced. I enjoyed all the ooks in the series and this one is my favorite. ( )
