What a gorgeous book (received via Netgalley). With this as a tool I could easily weigh 300 pounds by my birthday - and I'd love every minute of getting there. The design of the book is just lovely, from the page backgrounds of parchment paper to the before-and-after photos of the most evil decadent looking cookies and cakes and breads and ... everything. (I particularly love the action shot of confectioner's sugar being sprinkled on.) The book is sprinkled with pages devoted to bakeries from coast to coast, a fun little interview and photo page featuring each followed by a recipe. These and all the rest of the recipes are horribly tempting; I don't think there's a dud in here. Add tips and tricks and charts to clear instructions and - yes. *sigh* *slides Weight Watchers brochure under laptop* This is a keeper. ( )
