The burglar is eventually scared off by the “ghosts” which we know are just the mice throwing books around in the library. I liked this story because the illustrations are subtle and really tie the whole story together. For example, Westcott uses only the shadows of the mice in the cover, and up until the end of the story to keep the main plot a bit discrete. This is a short chapter book the tells the story of a night at the bookstore. This bookstore is different it only sells ghost books. The owner of the store is named Mr. Brown and his cat, Cobweb. Cobweb is unlike any other cat and his best friends are mice. One night a burglar comes into the store Cobweb suspects this and is ready to take action. He and the mice and ready to show this burglar this bookstore also has a ghost. They scare him until he calls for help. Mr. Brown runs down a scared the burglar away. Thanks to Cobweb and the ghost (mice) the store is saved. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
