The Samantha Moon series is really good! Sam is just a woman trying to be a good mother, wife, and private detective after becoming a vampire. Her character is realistic and likable. The author is good at making you care about Sam and the plight that she is in, and I found myself really feeling for her throughout the whole series. The books are all enjoyable and will leave you wanting more!
These books are so much fun to read. Whether writing from a male point of view or a female he never ceases to amaze me. Each of his characters in all his books feel very real and they all have their own unique sense of humor. One minute he can make me laugh and then the next nearly cry. Give Moon Dance a try, it's free so you have nothing to lose then go for these. Four great books at an excellent price. I've read most of his books and constantly check to see if he has any new one's out and can honestly say that I've probably enjoyed this series more than anything else I've read in a long time. This is a great series that will leave you wanting more. Plus who doesn't like it when Judge Judy totally hammers on some deadbeat :) ( )
I really like this entire series. Samantha Moon is a mother first, a vampire second, and a private investigator third. She is a refreshing change of pace in the Vampire genre's cast of characters. She's a mother who never asked to be a vampire and never wanted to be one. My only beef? These are more like novellas than full length novels. ( )
