Hmmm....I have to admit that parts of this book I found pretty scary...or may the premise is what I found scary. I didn't care for the ending...I expected...more. It was definitely a great read and it was the first James Patterson book I have read. I will be trying more. ( ) This book surprised me. The end was a bit of a "Yeah, I can see that happening" but that's okay! It really ties in with the book and how it could be reality. I don't know how to explain the book without spoilers, but if you're interested in animals and how we could be dinner or even just a problem for animals, I recommend this. The book is nothing like the television show, so if you've seen it or want to watch it, don't worry. My only problems with the book was how chapters we're written, they averaged maybe 5 pages a chapter and sometimes the humor was a bit odd in places. The characters felt a bit hard to connect too because the main character was kind of an idiot for being a scientist. I do recommend it on a discount, maybe 5-7 dollars? Well that's my Z for the A-Z Challenge AND my 80th book which takes me to the completion of my 2016 reading challenge. Zoo was an engaging, interesting, and fun read. It wasn't a literary masterpiece or anything like that but it held my attention and I enjoyed the read. Perfect for what I was looking for at the time. There were some good action sequences, too. The POV switched from Oz's first person to everyone else covered in a third person omniscient. The POV of the animals was one of my favorite things about the book. Also, damn us humans! sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
