Super Fly Guy (edição 2006)

This is a great book to use with ELL students during a guided reading lesson! This book teaches students to plan and find multiple solutions to a problem. A story element that is frequently seen in this book is conflict, which is great to learn especially when beginning to read and comprehend. This is a fast-read for students, so teachers can find a topic to focus on and have students develop their thoughts quicker. There is also humor in this book which encourages readers to continue reading and stay concentrated, but also have fun while reading. This book also encourages students to be imaginative and creative in their own writing (having fly guy be the main character). I think this would be a great addition to a classroom library! ( )

This book is about a fly who goes to school. The boy and the fly are on a mission at school to bring the lunch lady back to school.

This book would be good to get those readers interested that are hard to grab their attention. They want to read about these kinds of stories. This would also be a good book to bring back the concept of sequencing for upper grades in elementary.

A great kids' book that is silly and fun to read. Fly Guy books are always a fun one for kids and my students almost always memorize the story.

This is such a fun story for a young reader. I love that Tedd Arnold has created a Fly Guy series! Once a child gets hooked on this character, she/he will want to check every book out. Fly Guy is funny and the text supports young readers. The story has a "chapter book" feel, so that young readers feel accomplished. ( )
