I like this book because it shows the damage humans can do by bringing foreign objects into a animals habitat. This book would connect with the 5th grade DCI ESS3.C: Human Impacts on Earth Systems. I would use this book as an example of how humans can have a very negative affect on animals. I would use this book with other books that show how humans can impact animals, vegetation, and bodies of water. ( )
