( ![]() 3.5 Stars Fun and light, very entertaining. Although I'd seen this book in my library's audiobook section numerous times before, I kept overlooking it. I'm glad I finally checked it out because it was a quick and enjoyable book, light-hearted but with lots of interesting things going on. A fun and intriguing cast of characters I'd definitely like to read more about. A fun start to a promising new series. Has some elements of The Sting and some of Out of Sight. Kate O'Hare is an FBI agent, Nick Fox the quarry she hunted for years, and caught. After she escapes she discovers he made a deal with the FBI, help them catch some of their 'untouchable' criminals by using his con artist skills to assist in their capture by authorities. Kate's job, keep an eye on him. Lots of sexual chemistry and hi-jinks ensue. I really enjoyed this book - reminded me of the series "Leverage' in some of the plot. FBI agent Kate O’Hare and con man Nick Fox are, in many ways, opposites, but their differences make the book quite fun. Adventures around the world. I think I love Kate's father :) I liked Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series - but quit reading them in the single digits. Her writing makes for quick and fun reading, but the plots seemed always the same. And I admit I got truly tired of the Ranger vs Morrelli romance. Maybe it was her co-writer's influence, but Kate O'Hare isn't flighty. Quirky, yes. And the adventures were over-the-top but interesting. I sincerely hope that this series continues to develop and remain quality reading. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica

FBI Special Agent Kate O'Hare is known for her fierce dedication and discipline on the job, chasing down the world's most wanted criminals and putting them behind bars. Her boss thinks she is tenacious and ambitious; her friends think she is tough, stubborn, and maybe even a bit obsessed. And while Kate has made quite a name for herself for the past five years, the only name she's cared about is Nicolas Fox, an international crook she wants in more ways than one.
