Aww... I'm sure I could find negative things to say about this, but I was charmed and don't want to spoil it for myself.
Interesting touch, having the fox wear the kinds of tall boots fox-hunting humans wear. And nice detail, having Barb, in the beginning, wear different ornaments in her head fur to correspond to the kind of dance she's doing. ( )

Hokey Pokey: Another Prickly Love Story by Lisa Wheeler is the sequel to the book Porcupining: A Love Story. I picked this book because I had just finished the first book. This book continues our adventure with Cushion the porcupine and Barb the hedgehog. In this book they are trying to dance but Cushion cannot dance well at all! He literally has two left feet! He keeps stepping on Barb or hurting someone with his quills. This book is really comical. In the end, he is successful at dancing and making Barb happy.

I couldn’t find any activities on this book specifically, but I thought it would be cute to teach the hokey pokey to the class so here is a website describing that: ( )
