I almost put the book aside about 25% of the way in because it was so confusing - it seemed as if every chapter was being told from a different POV, without warning and often with little orientation. I'm very glad I stuck with it, because gradually I was able to shift into the POV without difficulty and understand it was part of the whole taut story. This isn't a happy novel, but it was very well written and I have put the next in the series, Last Kiss, in my 'to read' folder. Violence - quite a bit, but not as much gore as most thrillers. Romance and/or sex - really none Strong language - yes, although it certainly didn't get in the way of the story being told. Definitely a hard book to put down once you get into it, and a bit haunting after it's completed. Oh - the story takes place in Dublin, so there was some slang I didn't know (but again, didn't get in the way too much) sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
