( ![]() While reading Bloodmagic, I was really pulled in by this series. I think that Alex's name for Mackenzie, "Mack Attack" is certainly appropriate. While Mack's constant temper can be annoying at times, as a Draco Were Dragon, I suppose it's understandable. But I still love her and the other characters in Helen Harpers Blood Destiny series. I loved Mack's fierce loyalty to her friends and her original shifter clan. Anyway in this book she's hiding from the Lord Alpha because she fears if the Brethren discover she's human they will kill her and her entire pack for harboring her. She's trying to live a quiet life in Scotland, but of course destiny overtakes her. Next thing you know she's caught the attention of the Fey lord Solus Apollinarus , seriously pissed off the Ministry of Mages by suddenly developing mage level powers (despite her friend Alex unswerving loyalty) and the obvious feelings of the Lord Alpha Corrigan towards her. The story 's a lot of fun to read and despite the cliché, I couldn't put the book down. I've already picked up the next book in the series, Bloodrage . I do hope that in the next book,Mack and Corrigan finally get together. Jack Murphy sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica

Mack Smith is living in London and with the opening of the new improved city version of Clava Books mere days away, things appear to be settling down. Other than the terrible nightmares about dragons, that is. Or the fact that she's being constantly tailed by a string of mages, shifters and faeries, all of whom are constantly demanding her attention. And that's without even bringing the temptation of Corrigan, Lord Alpha of the Brethren. Não foram encontradas descrições de bibliotecas. |
