Thought this was great -- a kid is mad at his mom for "always" saying no, and ends up saying "I hate you!" -- then feels remorse, and ultimately reconciles with his parents. A great journey through a kid's temper tantrum, with very recognizable language for little kids. ( )

A little boy overwhelmed by emotions feels like hes turning into a dragon. I delightful story about feelings, family and how to handle our emotions. Great for teaching synthesizing; when you first look through the book it would appear the family is under attack by a ferocious dragon, as you read the story with the children you learn it is just an expression of the boys feelings.
