This is a good book to teach kids that while it may be fun to pretend, in the end we are generally comfortable and happy in the environment that we are brought up in and there can be comfort in that. Moka the dog learned this lesson the hard way when he ran away from home to wander the woods like a wolf would. Moka the dog is best friends with his owner Michelle and is happy with his role until she reads him a book about wolves. He becomes dissatisfied with being a pet and runs away only to discover that he misses Michelle and the things they do together, because being an independent wolf isn’t fun if you are by yourself. I love this book because it would make a good representation of being yourself. Even though being like someone else may sound nice, but being yourself is just as amazing. Too often children are comparing themselves to others and need to be reminded that who they are is special and amazing all on its own. Moca thought living and being a wolf was what he should be, but he quickly realizes that his nice comfy home was much better. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
