The book is a relic of its age-- many of the issues and arguments against which the author writes are foreign to many in the 21st century, and the impact of ecumenism and relativism in the intervening years is quite evident. Many of the arguments made previously are rarely advanced, and many of the realities that the book presents would be more universally confessed even if not practiced by many more.
Some arguments made are a bit questionable, but the majority of what is written is quite accurate. The author goes into great detail regarding baptism as immersion and baptism as for believers.
A work worth having and considering. (
