I found out about this book as a result of attending a local authors' event at the Mysterious Galaxy bookstore in San Diego. Militaria related is typically outside my genre, but the cover had a picture of a fighter plane that my client, who I was there with, and I just happened to talk about on the way to the event, so I considered it fate....I really enjoyed this fast paced tale of commitment, loyalty, and love of our country. Some of the military jargon was outside my realm of knowledge, but did not detract from the book, which was read in one sitting. William stated that he had to get permission and clearance from the government prior to publishing the book because some of the information was just de-classified. I wonder how much of the story reflects his own experience directly...
I'm glad that the soul mates were reunited in the end! ( )
