Si je ne devais vous en conseiller qu’un seul, je vous conseillerais quand même le roman de Milton Hatoum (et j’ai l’impression de m’enfoncer un couteau dans le cÅ“ur). Non pas que la bande-dessinée soit mauvaise – loin de là , elle est absolument géniale et a une atmosphère assez incroyable elle aussi, mais le roman rend selon moi mieux compte de la complexité de cette histoire, rend plus justice aux personnages secondaires et enveloppe ainsi d’autant plus le lecteur de cette atmosphère poétique et mystérieuse, belle et angoissante à la fois. Et, malheureusement, je dois admettre qu’après avoir lu le roman, j’ai été un peu dubitative face à certaines traductions de la bande-dessinée ...
