Sam Crowe lives a quiet life. He's a freelance journalist and sometimes fiction writer. His world is turned upside down when love lands on his doorstep--literally, while cursing up a G-rated storm. Son of a fish, indeed. Casey Sanders doesn't know whether it's good luck or bad when he slips and falls on the icy steps of his apartment building, but the hero who comes to his rescue is worth the discomfort. Their attraction is instant, but Sam is certain Casey's flirtation and kind words are a result of the pain medication. But Casey is persistent and won't give up until he has what he wants. And what he wants is Sam. Não foram encontradas descrições de bibliotecas. |

Sam is a quiet guy, an author who doesn't have a lot of expectations, He also has a good heart, so when hi new neighbor Casey slips on the ice in front of their apartment building and hurts his ankle, Sam overcomes his shyness and helps. While he is definitely attracted to Casey, he doesn't believe it could be mutual. He has no idea!
Casey has had a tough year, with his boyfriend of ten years cheating on him, then his mother dying. He is ready for a new start, but breaking his ankle as he moves in does not bode well. Except for one thing: Sam comes to his rescue and Casey decides that is not a bad thing. He wants the man, but he'll need all his stubbornness to convince Sam that he is serious.
If you like short, sweet stories with no angst and instant attraction that evolves into more, if you like reading about shy men coming out of their shell, and if some very creative G-rated swearing sounds like fun, you will probably like this short story.
