Adira ao LibraryThing para descobrir se irá gostar deste livro. Ainda não há conversas na Discussão sobre este livro. This book would be a good read aloud option for informational text. This book is nice because it has minimal words, but still informational. I would definitely use this book in the lower grades versus the higher grades. I really like how this book talks about the relationship between ants and aphids, and also how it builds in concepts of partnership and what that looks like. I think that would be a cool way to spark that conversation in the classroom. Summary: This book walks through the difference between ants and aphids. The uses compare and contrast to help teach students about the individual insects. Thoughts: I did not really like this book because I found it a little boring, but informative. I think some students would be very into it while others may not like it. One positive attribute of this book is that it has large font so students who struggle with reading can also access the content. Use/Strategy: - Teach about exploration - Teach about the aspects of discovery - Teach about species, order, families - Talk about the details of each insect -Compare and contrast insects This is also an informational book which talked about how aphids and ants work together. All full-color photos and lively text are so creepy. Actually, I don't recommend this kind of books very much. Although students need to learn some creepy even horrible animals no matter injurious insects or beneficial insects, these kinds of books are too lively so they might be too sick for some girls. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
