Elephant and Piggie is great for students at a primary / lower intermediate level. This book teaches a thoughtful lesson on thankfulness, and saying thank you to people you are thankful for. Even saying thank you to your best friends is awesome! It also has a pinch of humor that kids I'm sure would enjoy. I think this would be a fun book to read aloud because you can give some fun theatrics to it! ( )

An insta-favorite for J and he especially loved the "special Thank You surprise" at the end on the book. Wonderful topic and as always Elephant & Piggie are cute and funny. ( )
