Cantrell is on a roll - excellent characters, fast pace, suspense, good action, and thought provoking. This book expands on the primary characters back stories. I like the touch of explaining some of the science involved in her story in the acknowledgements. I wonder if she picked this up from James Rollins during their collaboration on the "Blood Gospel" novels ? It shows an attempt to make much of the fiction more fact based & more realistic. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica

If you haven't read the first two, The World Beneath and The Tesla Legacy, I highly suggest that you do. Each book can be read as a standalone, but you will be missing out on an awesome twist in The Chemistry of Death if you don't. It is this type of twist, that is far left of the norm, in which I love to read. There is nothing more boring than a typical expected-ending story and the Tesla series is far from typical! If you haven't read the first two, please catch up and do so, so you can experience the OMG twist in The Chemistry of Death! ( )
