The illustrations show the characters emotions as well as detailed images of the voyage. There is opportunity for the teacher to insert the reality of the early explorers' exploitation and arrogant attitudes into the gaps we tend to leave in our historical accounts. This is a simple account of Christopher Columbus and his voyage to America. The reader will explore the mysteries of the New World and travel along with Christopher Columbus in his adventures. This book is an excellent reading tool for building children's reading skills. It has large illustrations and has a basic writing style. Students can complete a Mini Booklet that tells the story of Columbus one line at a time on each page, while the students illustrate the words. I like Christopher Columbus because it is a very inspirational yet informational book about Columbus setting sail to the Americas and discovering things he didn’t know were discoverable. The plot of the book is great because it shows the struggles and adventure that Columbus and his sailors went through, but also showed the success and excitement after they fought to find what they were looking for. The illustrations show the characters emotions as well as detailed images of the voyage. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
