I skipped from the first book right to this for a quick read. It had a couple little mysteries taken care of in one day and then the wedding. It was a fun novella that felt like the author writing fanfic for her series (although real fanfic would have had smut). (

This is a novella and takes place the day before Lady Darby and Gage's wedding. Keira's sister is running around organizing everything for the wedding and Keira just wants a quiet wedding without all the fuss. She and Gage jump at the chance to get get out of the house and do a little investigating about Torc, and then on a retreival mission for Bonnie Broc Kincaid. (

This novella is centered around Kiera and Gage's wedding. They have plenty of time to solve a couple of crimes since Kiera's sister is asking for her advice and then ignoring it and planning the wedding on her own. When Jock gives Kiera a gold torc, they are finally able to solve the mystery that began in the second book. Also Bonnie Brock is calling in a favor and asking them to recover his mother's diary which is in a hidden compartment of a writing desk given to a friend's fiance. (

Lady Kiera Darby is finally about to tie the know with Sebastian Gage. It's the day before their wedding and there are a few loose ends requiring their professional investigation services. Kiera's sister, Alanna is beside herself that the bride, a key ingredient to the pending nuptials, is AWOL and causing her a fair amount of grief. Will the bride show up in time? Will the wedding still take place. And by the way, who's the cleptomaniac resident in Kiera's sister's townhouse?

This is yet another charming addition to the Lady Darby mystery series. (

For fans of the Lady Darby series, this is a fun short story about that most anticipated event (no spoilers) and a few small but interesting mysteries thrown in to keep the story genre-honest.

Thoroughly enjoyable and has me eagerly waiting the newest book out next month. (
