I will try and not review this with the bias of me loving jazz, but I truly believe this book educates children on a genre of music that they otherwise would know nothing about. I still don't know if they would really like jazz music, it's an acquired taste, but the book informs nonetheless. The pictures are very New Orlans-ish, and the book touches on the culture of the music. I enjoyed this book and immediately threw on a Blue Note record after reading it. ( )
