Doctor Martin Luther’s Small Catechism, edited by Carl Gausewitz, Was used by the Wisconsin Lutheran churches for many years. Besides the Small catechism Luther wrote, it contains the questions and answers as well as Luther’s preface to the catechism. The cover simply reads Luther’s Catechism.

The 1943 edition of Luther’s Small Catechism was used by confirmation classes for many years. The first 30 pages are Luther’s Small catechism, written more in the language of King James. The second part which is in question and answer form also uses King James to back up its explanations. A copy can be found on the library shelves under the number 238.41/Sho

Kuske’s Luther’s Catechism which was used for many years since 1982 is written in two parts. “The first part of this book is a translation of the Small Catechism which Luther wrote in German is 1529. The second part of this book is an… explanation of what Luther wrote.”
“In the explanation, each part of Luther’s Small Catechism is explained in a question and answer form. After each question there are Scripture passages which give the Bible’s answer to the question. The words in italics in each passage indicate the part of the passage which is mst important for answering the question. The answer merely summarizes what the Scriptures teach.”

Can't be beat. It's always a good one to re-read, just for self reflection and orientation. ( )
