(  ) Critterbee | Apr 16, 2018 | Olivia is a delight, the illustrations are cute and I liked the way this fills in some of the gaps from Royal Wedding. I didn’t enjoy the middle-school social politics that Olivia encounters at her new school, nor the way Olivia ends up with a romantic interest. (Also, she’s twelve! She doesn’t need a romantic interest! Some people find romantic interests in YA novels to be unnecessary. It turns out that I reach that point when we’re dealing with twelve year olds.)
