This book was a bit of a disappointment. Any attempts at wit in the writing were based on annoying cliches and stereotypes. ( )

I love Ted Naifeh's artwork; that, combined with the humor and surprisingly endearing (considering the main characters) writing by Gary Whitta, makes this a winner. I wish there were more. ( )

Meant for kids, but entertaining for adults. So at some point the grim reaper got married and had a kid. And that kid isn't the smartest kid in the world, so misadventures happen. Gotta watch out for that fifth horseman of the apocalypse--he's a tricky one. ( )

Man, there's no way around it: summer jobs blow, and it's worse when your boss is actively trying to bring about a "bureaucralypse." Meanwhile DJ's friends are at the worse summer camp ever, so nobody's having a good time.

Except the readers, of course. Because this volume is just as fun as the first. ( )

A strange graphic novel, the second in the series, involving the son of the Grim Reaper, named Death. Over the summer he interns at Terminal Industries (his dad's company) and some interesting things happen... Weird, scary, yet amusing. ( )
