This book was a wonderful selection of famous stories from the Middle Ages, with an easy-to-read cadence that brought out the nice editing. The selections were reader friendly and updated into modern English, which made the pages turn fairly quickly.

There is The Death Of Roland, Parsival, Guigemar, Sir Gawain And The Green Knight, and more. Philip S. Jennings has done a nifty job of turning medieval verse into contemporary prose, with "lessons" attached to the intro of each title.
