Huckle shows the reader; clothes, his house, his kitchen, the busy street, the supermarket, a farm, and shipyard, and many other places. On each page he describes the place a little bit, and then there are words under places, things, and people in the pictures describing what they are. At the end of the book, the alphabet is shown with a word that start with a specific that letter and a picture of the word.
