O Filho de Thor: confesso que no início vi-me um bocadinho à nora, mas foi tudo infundado. O meu problema foi estar ainda tão absorvida por Sevenwaters quando comecei a ler a Saga que senti imediatamente a falta de várias coisas, de Sevenwaters propriamente dito, da sua magia tão própria, da narração na primeira pessoa do feminino, e etc, mas Juliet Marillier será Juliet Marillier e a sua escrita rapidamente nos seduz, e envolve, e maravilha, e nos torna adictos, e o livro chega depressa ao fim. Este foi mais um exemplo disso, e ainda que Sevenwaters tenha sempre um lugar cimeiro no meu coração, Eyving, Nessa, Margaret, Ulf, Rona, irmão Tadhg, e até Somerled, logo me conquistaram e ocuparam a minha mente com as suas peripécias e dilemas. Para mim este livro fica marcado por mais uma bela aventura e por mais um grande, grande amor, e especialmente por um terrível vilão que nos leva a acreditar por várias vezes que as coisas vão correr muito mal, e que o mundo vai sucumbir aos seus pés!
