He is lying in the grass and notices all the animals climbing on the grass blades and walking in the dirt. He sees ladybugs, butterflies, and then notices a spider that is crawling towards him. He is interested to see what the spider does when it approaches the little boy. The little boy laid still and thought if he were to be still, then the spider would crawl on him. The boy kept stone still and the spider crawled across the blade of grass, bent towards the little boy’s cheek, and then jumped onto him cheek. The boy made sure to stay still, even though the spider was tickling him with its legs. The spider crawled across his face and then jumped off back into the grass. The little boy lifted his head and watched the spider crawl away. He noticed that since he stayed still he was able to see a lot of things in the grass due to not disturbing the bugs.
