Linde Instant attraction bonded them, will old wounds and mistrust tear them apart? Jensen could be an arrogant *** at times, but that just added to his charm. It's hard not to respect a guy that from a young age took care of his numerous siblings like the father they never had but all needed. So when loser magnet Emery crosses his path, he's quickly intrigued by her. Emery likes what she sees, but not the drama it entails. Her history with the Wrights was painful and she would rather keep her distance. Too bad that's not an option. The Wright Brother blends broken hearts, scandalous pasts and a surprisingly sensitive romance to create a touching story of new beginnings and happy endings. K. A. Linde in my eyes is one to watch. Sexy, intelligent and wealthy Jensen Wright seems like the perfect catch, but when information starts revealing itself about the mysterious billionaire, it might be too much for the elusive Emery. Simply put this novel has a little bit of everything you might want in a standalone contemporary romance. Jensen Wright intrigues me. When I read him, it’s like a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He is a very loyal man who keeps to himself, but when crossed or betrayed there is no going back with him. He meets Emery Robinson without remembering who she is, but the real kicker is she remembers him. Things start falling into place and before you know it they have developed a connection to each other, and let me tell you if you like steam you are in for a treat! They have a pretty intense attraction. As for the angst, while there is some it’s not too much. I don’t want to give away all the juicy details, so, if you are looking for a steamy developing drama, this is the book you can devour to the core. I hope you enjoy! This was another amazing page turner from K.A. Linde. Jensen and Emery's story was flawless. I can't even begin to tell you how much I LOVE Jensen Wright. He is the ultimate book boyfriend with a side of sexy and a dash of sweet and spicy. Okay, more than a "dash." Emery thought she had he mind one way and the moment she came back home, she was done. The author set the characters and pace in such an easy flow that it was tragic to see the end of this first installment. I can NOT wait until this continues! I would definitely recommend The Wright Brother. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica

I'd dated his brother. He didn't remember and I wish I could forget. I may have sworn off the Wright family a long time ago. But when I returned home, Jensen Wright crashed into my life with the confidence of a billionaire CEO and the sex appeal of a god. Even I couldn't resist our charged chemistry, or the way he fit into my life like a missing puzzle piece. Too bad he'd forgotten the one thing that could destroy us. Because Jensen Wright doesn't share. Not with anyone. And if his brother finds out, this could all go down in flames. When it all was said and done, was he the Wright brother? This story was cute but I have to be honest and say that I was wanting more. The storyline had so much potential but fell short. It, at times, felt immature and childish. I struggled with Emery more than Jensen though. This is a shame because as I mentioned the story had so much potential. These characters mirrored each other with similar paths but the lack of communication and jumping to conclusions made this hard for me to connect fully with the characters, separately and together. I was wanting more angst at the idea of Emery having dated Landon. However, instead of angst, it came across as petty and slightly ridiculous, especially knowing where things were at with Miranda and Landon.
However, I did get invested enough that I wanted to see how it would end. The sneak peek into Landon's story held my interest much more than this one did and I have since added it to my TBR. Even though this was not my favorite by this author, I still appreciate her hard work and passion. She created something that I could never have done in a million years. I read this as part of the Top Shelf romance collection. ( )
