A great book written and illustrated by Lily Williams. This book is a nonfiction picture book with fabulous illustrations that showcase what is happening within the story. The book imagines what would happen to our oceans if sharks disappeared. It is reiterated that sharks are necessary for healthy oceans even though some find them scary. This book would be suitable for Storytimes at libraries and for classrooms. Age range 4-8 yrs old. I believe this a serie book. This one in specific talks about the importance that sharks have in our ecosystem. I like that the author utilizes colorful images and simple, fun language. I believe this book breaks the stereotype that "sharks are bad and scary animals," instead it highlight their purpose in this world and the beauty in each marine animal. For beginning readers. These books are a series of events that would happen if an animal (in this book, a shark) disappeared. It shows why each animal is important to the other in a fun and engaging way. It defines unclear words such as "apex predators" and "tropic". This book is great for children who love animals, or as an introductory to a lesson regarding animals. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
