These two comics pick up with Doctor Strange having defeated the Empirjul by letting loose Misery who has now taken over Wong, his librarian. Misery is all of the blowback from the magic that he has used over the years come alive into an angry dark, gooey creature. Strange goes down into the basement to battle Misery. Zelma waits above ready to help.

In number twenty, Strange goes to an auction and steals a magical wand, one of the last magical items left on earth, in order to keep it out of the wrong hands. He has a fight on his hands to get out of the auction house. Zelma is waiting on the flying motorcycle outside. In their zeal to escape Strange gets hit with a poisoned arrow by a volcano man working for Morgan Le Fay and the motorcyle gets hit as well going down in the Bermuda Triangle or Weirdworld. How will they manage with Strange out of it and unable to help? How can Zelma save Strange from the poison that is killing him?

Nineteen and Twenty mark the last of the comics written by Jason Aaron and drawn by Chris Bachalo. So this story line ends. It has been one hell of a ride. This plot is really fabulous with lots of twists and turns. It will be interesting what others will do with this incredible world they have left. The art work is amazing. In Nineteen it's great to see Misery in all it's glory and to see to the different rooms of the sanctum. It also shows the differences between the light and dark sides of Strange using colors to illustrate this. In Twenty, the colors for the first view of Weirdworld is floaty and pastel. The place is populated with blazing orange volcano people. These two comics wrap up the story line very nicely but not neatly. There are questions left unanswered. These two are a must read. I can't wait to see where the story line goes from here. ( )
